Learn About Two Dairy Farm Grants this Fall

Two grants are coming this fall, and we’re here to answer your questions about them!

Join us for a webinar to learn about the Dairy Farm Improvement & Modernization Grant and the On-Farm Milk Storage & Handling Grant.

The webinar is on Monday, October 23 at 12 noon. You’ll get details about each opportunity from our Grants Coordinators, be able to ask questions, and learn how to apply. Register for free here.

The Dairy Farm Improvement & Modernization Grant offers funding between $15,000 – $100,000 for projects that enhance farm viability, climate and economic resilience.

Current and former farmer participants from NE-DBIC funded Grazing Transition, Forage Enhancement, or Alternative Farm Management Technical Assistance cohorts will receive priority for $695,000 of the funds from this grant. Total funds available equal $1,495,000.

The On-Farm Milk Storage & Handling Grant offers funding between $10,000 – $50,000 for specialized equipment, including bulk tanks, chillers, pipelines, and more. Total funds available equals $800,000.

Both grants are open to applicants in all 11 Northeast states served by NE-DBIC: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
