Investing in Regional Dairy

Grants and Technical Service for Dairy Farmers and Processors across the Northeast

At the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center (NE-DBIC), our goal is to create resiliency and long-term sustainability for Northeast dairy businesses.

The NE-DBIC serves an 11-state region:

Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

We support dairy farmers and processors through grants, access to technical services, education, and events that promote the development, production, marketing, and distribution of regional dairy products.

Based in Vermont and hosted by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets, the NE-DBIC is one of four regional USDA Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives (DBII) in the nation.

To date, $38.77 million has been awarded to the NE-DBIC for projects extending through 2026.

More than half of all federal funding awarded for the NE-DBIC is granted directly to dairy businesses.
